And yesterday I had to buy some pseudoephedrine for a sick kid.

So it’s starting to look like a meth lab! On a really small scale.

Infuriating. Living in a nanny country, I wonder if I can even find a home chemistry lab kit for sale. I think I will go take a look right now. And buy one.

As Jorge is coming over shortly, I have asked him to bring some watercolors for me (the available brands here are junk) and have instructed him to only buy pans of color because he may not get the tubes through airport security when he leaves or customs when he arrives…

Which leads me to another rant, er, tangent: If carry-on liquids, gels, lotions, creams, etc. are limited in volume (3 oz. max, I believe) for air travel, what about women with breast implants?

L., good luck and let me know what you find. I’m going to wait a few more years (the youngest is not quite 8) and with any luck the Thames & Kosmos Chem C3000 will still be around. It’s not perfect, but I think it’s all we can hope for right now. You know, I never thought about breast implants….
