Poetry Friday

Nothing here today — we’ve been waylaid by the big hockey tournament in town, where we spent a good chunk of today cheering on the children’s friend and the rest of the team (they won, hurray!) — but head over to Gina at Cuentesitos, who’s hosting this week’s Poetry Friday roundup.

    Hi there…missing you. Havnig a very rough time — dad had a heart attack two days after his surgery, had been in the hospital for two weeks. Today moved to a skilled nursing facility four hours away.

    I was in the hospital, too — long story, but I’m fine. I was two rooms from dad but only over night.

    I am so exhausted that I will not venture the two-day drive until I’ve rested a few days.

    Will be home next week.
    Miss you MUCH.
